Recruitment Campaign for Governor in Council Appointed Members

The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) is currently seeking candidates for full-time and part-time Governor in Council (GIC) appointed member positions in Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver. Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications before the closing date.

Interested candidates must apply online via the advertised process. Candidates will be asked to upload their curriculum vitae along with their completed application form (PDF, 367 Kb), and a cover letter which should be addressed to the Assistant Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet (Senior Personnel), Privy Council.

Working as independent decision-makers at a tribunal at arm's length from government, GIC appointed members conduct proceedings in a fair and expeditious manner and render timely decisions on refugee and immigration related appeals.
