The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) is now allowing documents to be submitted electronically to the
RPD through Canada Post’s secure epost Connect™ service.
Before you begin, please read the RPD’s
practice notice as well as the
Instructions on how to Submit Documents Electronically to the Refugee Protection Division (RPD). The Instructions will guide through the following three-part process:
- Sign up with the RPD for access (below)
- Register with the epost Connect Service (through the email you will receive from the
RPD)
- Submit your documents through epost Connect
Important Notice
You should use this online form
only if you would like to use epost Connect to submit documents identified in the RPD’s
practice notice electronically to the RPD.
You should
not use epost Connect to submit any other documents to the IRB, including in proceedings before the other Divisions the IRB. Any documents that you submit through epost Connect that are not identified in the RPD’s practice notice will be disregarded.
You should
not use epost Connect to make a refugee protection claim. Please visit Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's (IRCC) website for information concerning
making a refugee protection claim from
inside Canada or
making a refugee protection claim from
outside Canada.
Please note that any email that you send directly to an IRB email address will be disregarded.
