The IRB is in the process of implementing a vision and strategy called the Nova Continuous Improvement Program (NCIP) to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient case-management tool for all four tribunals. The implementation of this vision will move the IRB from its current case-tracking capability to end-to-end electronic case management to support and advance the mandate of the IRB.
The IRB is following a five-year roadmap that includes several initiatives, which will be unveiled between now and 2021: electronic document management, self-service portal, reporting enhancements, electronic document sharing, business process automation, and scheduling tools. These are all aimed at improving functionality for our personnel, stakeholders and partners.
